Mr. Dan Doubrava has over 20 years of combined experience as a building consultant and restoration contractor. He specializes in large complex property losses involving reconstruction estimates for high-end commercial and residential structures involving fire, flood, hail, and other storm damage. Dan has managed a wide variety of multimillion-dollar loss claims providing cost estimates, clerk of works, and appraisal services. Dan has also served as an expert witness for numerous insurance claims and is highly knowledgeable with Xactimate estimating software.

Prior to establishing ACC, Dan built and led a team of Building Consultants based throughout the Midwest for a large engineering firm, providing mentorship and training while also performing building consulting services for his clients. Dan started his career as an estimator and project manager for restoration firms before starting and leading his own restoration and remodeling construction business for over 6 years.

Dan manages ACC’s revenue stream and ensures its work product and level of service exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Tornado Event – Mayfield, KY – December 2021

Inspected and wrote estimates for several commercial buildings that sustained catastrophic damage from tornadoes. Produced over $2,000,000 worth of damage estimates for CAT event.

Egg Farm Large Losses – Southern Wisconsin

Inspected and estimated damage to structures for three separate perils. Damages totaling more than $40,000,000.

Historical Home – Chicago, IL

Inspected and estimated damage to historical property involving a 3 -flat building after a severe fire involving over $5,000,000 in estimated damages.

Indoor Mall – Indiana

Indoor mall destroyed by fire. Inspected and wrote estimate for complete rebuild totaling $4,000,000.

Golf Course and Club House – Indiana

Severe fire damaged club house, including restaurant, ballroom, and lower-level locker rooms. Inspected and wrote estimate for rebuild totaling $2.8 million.

Restaurant Fire – Indiana

Fire to high-end steakhouse. Worked with contractor on agreed pricing and scope, inspected and wrote estimate for repair totaling $300,000.

Municipal Buildings – Indiana

Served as project lead over 5 Building Consultants to inspect 120 properties for hail damage. Inspected and wrote estimates totaling over $1,000,000.
