Jay Nance brings over 18 years of experience in the insurance claims industry, backed by a hands-on construction background and deep expertise in complex loss evaluation. As a former construction company owner specializing in residential and commercial projects, Jay delivers practical, real-world insight into property damage, scope development, and reconstruction.

He has extensive experience across residential, farm/ranch, and commercial claims, including large and complex losses involving wind, hail, water, fire, and flood. Jay is known for quickly identifying scope, validating costs, and providing clear, defensible estimates that support efficient claim resolution.

Jay is a Level 3 Xactimate Certified Estimator (2021) and is proficient in Simsol and CoreLogic/Symbility platforms. He is NFIP certified for flood claims and brings significant experience in appraisal, mediation, and dispute resolution—having served as an appraiser, participated in court-ordered mediations, and acted as a causation expert.
